Our soul will only be content when it attains divine bliss. Such bliss must possess the three attributes of sat-chit-anand. Sat means permanent, chit means ever fresh, and anand means infinite bliss.

Our longing for happiness comes from God, the ocean of bliss. Just as fire has heat, our soul naturally seeks joy. The only choice is—seek it in the right place or the wrong one.

We must not burden others with making us happy, nor should we take it upon ourselves to be responsible for others' bliss. Happiness is always an inside job-we must cultivate it from within.
