We must not expect everybody to behave favourably with us. No matter how good we are there will always be people who oppose us.

Let us not allow our thoughts to rob us of peace and joy, which are ours to claim through mastery of our mindsets. Rather, let us master our emotions, and then we will discover a million reasons to be happy.

The cause of tension is our non-acceptance of the present situation. 'Why is it like this and not like that?' When we learn to accept situations, we attain peace.

Austerities lead to growth that is permanent. The strength and transformation they bring become our lasting assets.
