सख्य भाव से भक्ति । Sakhya Bhav se Bhakti
12 Min•Sakhya Bhav
In this clip, Swamiji illustrates the friendship of Lord Krishna and His friends. Swamiji explains the scene from the pad (kirtan) composed by Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
Bhakti means Upasana. Upasana means to go near God. There are five ways to establish our relation with Shree Krishna. Swamiji explains that in Bhakti there are five kinds of Bhav(mental attitudes) viz., Santa Bhav, Dasya Bhav, Sakhya Bhav, Vatsalya Bhav and Madhurya Bhav. We can select any bhav that suits our temperament and develop Bhakti.
In Shant Bhav, the devotee takes God as the King and himself/herself to be the Subject.
In Dasya Bhav, the devotee thinks that he is the servant and Lord Krishna or Rama as his master. Hanuman Ji had this Bhav.
In Sakhya Bhav, the devotee takes Lord Krishna as his friend.
In Vatsalya Bhava, the devotee takes Lord Krishna as his son.
In Madhurya Bhav, the devotee takes Lord Krishna as his lover and himself/herself as the beloved.
Listen to this video clip and engage in the devotion of Lord Krishna with these bhav.
