आत्म कल्याण के तीन चरण । Three Steps to Redemption
17 Min•Faith
Our scriptures say that there is something called ‘Blind Faith’ where we simply believe what another tells us and don’t question it. Another faith is called ‘Social Heredity’ where we inherit our religion from our parents. The Vedic scriptures go on to explain the third kind of faith that is based upon knowledge. Such knowledge should be comprehensive, complete, and free from all defects. The source of all such knowledge are the Vedas. Two criteria must be fulfilled to grow our faith in the right direction. First, we need to have knowledge of the Vedas. Second, we can only acquire that knowledge from a God-realized Saint. It is widely believed that today’s society is a knowledge-based culture. But 5,000 years ago Shree Krishna, in the Bhagavad Gita, said, “Arjun! In this world, there is nothing as pure as divine knowledge.” Through the medium of a God-realized Saint (Guru), we get the opportunity to hear and learn that divine knowledge. But, what do we do with that correct knowledge? Watch this motivational and inspirational video from Swami Mukundananda where he lucidly explains the 3 ways to internalize the knowledge from the scriptures and implement it in our daily life.
